Schiefler gmentions a total amount of 54 copies in the different versions. On wove paper, with a writing sample printed on verso. 54,5 x 47,5 cm (21,4 x 18,7 in)Sheet: 71,7 x 57,4 cm (28,2 x 22,5 in).
From those 4 versions mentioned by Schiefler ours is closest to the second, but, on contrary to the indications in Schiefler, it is not printed in black and red. Schiefler did not take the measure of the uncleaned lower edge of the stone, which is offseting here, into account. This lithograph has only been offered once on the international auction market (source: Artnet.de).
