Oblong rectangular shape with hinged lid and bellied walls. Outside of lid: Gilded relief with a scene of tsar Alexander I. with his troops under eight-fold facetted glass. Outside of bottom with very subtle engraving. Decor motif: war trophies, such as flags, lances, armor and trumpets. Inside of lid gilded. Weight: 133 g.
Bottom and lid of tin with, among others, purity mark "84", town mark with year "1816" and maker's mark "I·B", for Jakow Witalijew.
