Otmar Alt is often referred to as the "storyteller" among German artists. His pictures are not illustrations of famous stories, but rather fantastic image prose put together like a jigsaw of monochrome color fields. This way the artist asks the observer in an ironic manner to discover the title in the picture. [KP].
