ADB XX, 525. - Zachert/Zeidler III, 1083. - Not recorded by Nissen. - first edition. - The botanist Martius (1794-1868) gives "neben der Darstellung der klimatologischen und geologischen Verhältnisse der Münchener Gegend, eine Geschichte des Gartens, eine Aufzählung der in ihm enthaltenen Pflanzen des freien Landes und der Gewächshäuser, sowie zum Schluß eine Schilderung des durch den Garten bereits gebotenen oder zu erwartenden Nutzens" [transl.:"besides an illustration of the climatoliogical and geological circumstances in Munich, a history of the garden, an enumeration of its plants, and a description of its usage, both at present and in future times"] (ADB). - With minor marginal defects in places and crease marks, as well as somewhat foxed, title stamped on verso.
