He took part in the expedition mainly in his function as a scientist with the focus on botany, however, he came up with extensive ethnologic findings as well. - The folding map shows the Russian Empire to east of the Ural and the western Siberian lowlands. - Here and there slightly foxed, the folding map variably creased and with guard holes, title of part I stamped. Binding scraped, 1 outer joint with traces of worming.
