Petit (1817-1863) was a watercolour painter and lithographer in Paris. Each plate contains indications on the year it was built, architect and owner. Showing the castles Blois, Chambord, Chateaubriant, Jalesnes, Langeais, Nantes, Nevers and Saint-Ouen, as well as town houses and palaces in Angers, Beaugency, Bourges, Orléans and Saumur. - Foxing in places (in white margin of plates), 1 text sheet mounted on extended guard, 1 text sheet remargined, 2 text sheets with rebacked small marginal defects.
