Numerous national and international solo shows, among others in New York and Amsterdam (both in 2010), made the artist more popular with a wider audience. Andrea Bender, who received the art prize of the Röher Parkklinik in 2005 and in 2008 Dormagen-Guffanti-Scholarship, lives and works in Düsseldorf and Duisburg. [KP].
