• The work was created the first year after the artist had moved to Preinersdorf, Chiemgau. Here, in the last creative phase, Damen's work regains its meditative and painterly intensity of expression.
• The subtle nuanced color surface in front of a water-colored ground is broken up by a horizontally laid out line frame and structured by spots of earthy color.
