Both in good condition. Small marginal tears, some affecting the image. H. 32 with defective spots in places of the margin of the image and the platemark respectively, image faintly rubbed, however restored. Both firmly mounted on Japon. [HT]

Hollstein 31 II (of II) and 32 II (of II). Both signed and inscribed on the plate. Excellent deep black impression on laid paper (with watermark "Amsterdam", cf. Churchill 67). With narrow margins around the platemark, affecting the platemark in one spot. 25 : 35,1 cm (9,8 : 13,8 in). Sheet: 27,8 x 36,8 cm (10,9 x 14,4 in).
