With 1 engr. title (of 2), 3 engr. head vignettes, 2 copper plates, 1 double page coppermaps (of 2) and 1 double page copper plan. Tübingen, Joh. G. and Chr. Cotta 1730. Contemp. pigskin over wooden boards, richly blind-and rollstamped and bulged brass fittings and brass clasps (thong removed). Folio. 15 ll., 1092 pp., ll. 1093-1100, pp. 1101-1248 (recte 1256); 4 ll., 582 (recte 572 pp.), 80 pp., 38 ll.
Darlow/Moule 4231. - Theso-called Cottasche Folio bible. - The copper portrait missing, also the engr. title on the Old Testament and the map of the travel routes of Paulus. - Slightly foxed in places of margins, with small brown stain in places of tail edge, last ll. with few traces of worming (loss of printed matter), the map cropped close and with minor tear. Joint slightly torn. All in all well-preserved copy.
